SOON Nobby x True Izakaya brings a Thrilling Tokyo-Style Halloween Party

The spooky vibes of Halloween are infectious and it’s got SOON Nobby x True Izakaya in its gripes. Famed for its 1980s retro inspired aesthetics and traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern spin, SOON Nobby x True Izakaya is celebrating Halloween with a Tokyo-style theme party and themed dishes on October 27^th, 28^th between 8pm to 11pm and 31^st between 7pm to 10pm with a special surprise in store for guests.

The vibrant izakaya spot is calling on all costume enthusiasts to let their imagination go wild and dress up for the eerie occasion with costumes inspired by the Japanese pop culture. From a dashing samurai to an elegant geisha to a fan-favourite character from an anime or manga, guests can flaunt their costumes and enjoy an evening with good food, sake, sushi and vibrant DJ tunes to raise the spirits. 

In true Halloween fashion, SOON Nobby x True Izakaya has a trick up its own sleeve. The most creative costume will receive an AED 1000 voucher to redeem at SOON Nobby x True Izakaya along with a ticket for the upcoming Middle East Film & Comic-Con, a paradise for all anime, nerds and cosplayers, taking place in February 2024.

The menu features an array of spooky dishes for foodies to dive into including Black Spider Maki made with soft shell crab, takuan, special spicy mayo, miso tofu sauce and orange tobiko, Spooky Spicy Salmon Maki made with squid ink sushi rice, avocado, cream cheese, nori kizami, kurikake, Boogeyman made with sea bream, SOON spicy green mayo, kampyo, king oyster mushroom and asparagus, Charred Pumpkin Udon made with misozuke egg yolk, brown butter pumpkin seed furikake and pumpkin yuzu emulsion and Chocolate Pumpkin made with sansho pepper white chocolate, pumpkin mochi and pumpkin seed granola.
