Symbiosis International University Dubai Expands Academic Offerings with Four New CAA-Accredited Programs
In a significant milestone within just a few months of launch, Symbiosis International University (SIU) Dubai proudly announced the introduction of four new CAA-accredited programs: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Engineering, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Honors in Psychology, Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Honors with ACCA preparation, and a Dual Degree Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Aston University, Birmingham, UK. This expansion reflects the university’s commitment to providing globally recognised, industry-relevant education in the heart of Dubai.
First Indian University to Receive Full Accreditation
Symbiosis International University Dubai is the first Indian university in the UAE to commence operations with full accreditation by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR), UAE. The accreditation of all programs reinforces Symbiosis’s legacy of 50+ years of academic excellence and trust, now extending to the UAE, ensuring the highest standards of education and student success.

The comprehensive list of CAA-accredited programs at SIU Dubai includes the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Engineering with concentrations in Computational Intelligence, Emerging Technologies, Gaming Design and Development, and Intelligent Systems. The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Psychology offered both an Honors and General track with concentrations in Organizational Psychology and Counselling Psychology. The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program provided specialisations in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), Cloud Computing, and Data Science & Data Analytics. The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) included both a B.Com Honors + ACCA Prep and a B.Com + ACCA Prep. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program offered specialisations in Accounting and Finance, General BBA, and a Dual Degree with Aston University, Birmingham, UK. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Media & Communication provided specialisations in Digital Marketing and Advertising, as well as Public Relations & Corporate Communications. Additionally, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program included specialisations in International Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management and Leadership.
Located in the heart of Dubai Knowledge Park, the SIU Dubai campus was inaugurated last year in November by H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan, H.E. Dr. S. Jaishankar, Symbiosis Founder Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar.
