Dubai is preparing for an unforgettable start to 2026, with Emaar announcing an eight-day New Year’s Eve celebration that will turn Downtown Dubai into one of the world’s largest open-air entertainment zones.
The festivities will run from December 31 to January 7, covering Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall promenade and Burj Lake with a sweeping mix of light shows, live performances and immersive technology.
Bollywood Takes Center Stage at Burj Park
Adding star power to the celebration, Burj Park will host a dedicated Bollywood-themed experience developed with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. Visitors can expect high-energy dance acts, movie-inspired performances and family-friendly entertainment throughout the evening.
Organised in partnership with Frontstage, the Burj Park event offers premium seating with clear views of Dubai’s iconic New Year’s Eve fireworks and Burj Khalifa light displays. Tickets are priced at Dh950 (plus VAT) for adults and Dh550 (plus VAT) for children aged 5 to 12, while children under five can enter free.
A New Parade for the New Year
The celebrations will also feature a large-scale street parade weaving through Downtown Dubai. Artistic floats, giant puppets and roaming performers will showcase the city’s creative spirit and cultural diversity, set against Dubai’s world-famous skyline.
Dubai’s NYE 2026 promises to begin the year with a landmark celebration unlike anything the city has staged before.
