Watches and Wonders Geneva returns this April

Spotlight on the must-sees

From April 1 to 7, 2025, the prestigious Watches and Wonders Geneva will return to the Swiss city. This year’s event will showcase the finest horology innovations from various renowned brands. With the addition of Bvlgari and six new independent brands, it promises to be an unmissable spectacle for watch enthusiasts and industry professionals.

Hosted by the Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation (WWGF), the event will kick off with four days reserved for the watchmaking elite before opening its doors to the general public from April 5 to April 7. For the third consecutive year, enthusiasts will be welcomed to explore the latest timepieces, attend exclusive product unveilings, and experience various innovative activities to immerse them in fine watchmaking.

Tickets for the event will be available via watchesandwonders.com from February 11, 2025. This year’s ticketing system introduces a tailored experience, allowing visitors to curate their schedules. By booking exclusive presentations and guided tours led by experts, attendees can delve deep into the stories behind the iconic brands and discover the artisanry that defines luxury timepieces.

The LAB area will be a key feature for those eager to explore the cutting-edge of watchmaking. It will showcase groundbreaking innovations and new technologies that could shape the industry’s future.

Start-ups, brands, and students will present prototypes and projects, offering an exciting glimpse into the potential evolution of horology. Meanwhile, the Auditorium will host a series of insightful lectures and brand presentations, providing a platform for industry leaders to discuss the latest trends and developments in watchmaking.

One of the most anticipated attractions at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025 is the Longitude Zero exhibition, which will guide visitors along the Greenwich Meridian to uncover the rich history and evolution of timekeeping. The event will also see the return of “In the City,” an initiative that brings the spirit of the Salon into the heart of Geneva. It will include a free program of events, boutique activations, and a must-see concert on Thursday evening.

Watchmaking artisanry and professions will be a focal point of the week’s activities, with special attention given to the Watchmaking Village on Pont de la Machine. Here, apprentices and trainers will present introductory training courses in the watchmaking field, while the SwissSkills 2025 competition for microtechnology professions, held in conjunction with the Salon for the first time, will showcase the next generation of Swiss watchmaking talent. Visitors can also enjoy live coverage of the competition throughout the event.

Additionally, the event will feature a rich cultural program, including conferences, book readings, and film screenings in partnership with the Payot Bookshop. These offerings will explore time in thought-provoking and creative ways, rounding off what promises to be an unforgettable week of watchmaking excellence.

Among the prestigious brands exhibiting this year are A. Lange & Söhne, Bvlgari, Cartier, Hublot, IWC Schaffhausen, Patek Philippe, Rolex, TAG Heuer, and Vacheron Constantin, to name just a few.
