The University of Europe for Applied Sciences Dubai (UE Dubai) in collaboration with the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA), hosted a successful event titled “Unity in Diversity: One World, One Community”, celebrating UAE’s diversity and honouring those advancing social unity and inclusion.

Aligning with the UAE’s designation of 2025 as the Year of Community, the event reinforced the nations commitment to cultivating social cohesion and inclusive growth.

The evening featured cultural performances by SPAA students that celebrated the UAE’s artistic heritage. In addition, attendees participated in insightful panel discussions and structured student-led debates, including one addressing workplace perceptions of young graduates and how emerging professionals can reshape the future of employment. The University of Europe for Applied Sciences has consistently championed inclusion and accessibility in higher education—core values central to its mission. At its campus in Germany, UE launched the Pink Bear Pavilion art project, through which it awarded 17 scholarships to talented individuals who may not have otherwise had access to university education. This initiative aligns with the event’s objectives and reflects UE’s broader commitment to promoting shared responsibility, inclusion, and collective growth.
