Dubai has introduced paid public parking in Wasl Village, with parking operator Parkin confirming the rollout under Zone Code 248W. The move forms part of the emirate’s broader strategy to streamline traffic flow and manage parking demand in busy residential and commercial districts.

Authorities said clear signage has been installed across the area to guide motorists and help them easily identify designated paid parking zones. Residents and visitors are encouraged to check the official Parkin platform for complete details on tariffs, subscription options, and operating guidelines.

Parking Tariffs in Wasl Village

Motorists using the new parking zones will be charged according to the following tariff structure:

  • 30 minutes: Dh2

  • 1 hour: Dh4

  • 2 hours: Dh8

  • 3 hours: Dh12

  • 4 hours: Dh16

Parking facilities in the area are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering continuous access for residents, visitors, and nearby businesses.

Subscription Packages for Regular Users

For frequent users, Parkin has introduced subscription plans that allow longer-term parking access:

  • 3 months: Dh900

  • 6 months: Dh1,800

  • 1 year: Dh3,600

These packages are designed to offer convenience for residents and professionals who regularly park in the area.

Special Ramadan Parking Timings

During the holy month of Ramadan, adjusted parking hours will apply:

  • Paid parking: Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm to midnight

  • Free parking: Daily between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm

  • Free parking: Sundays and public holidays

Authorities also confirmed that certain locations provide round-the-clock free parking, including Al Khail Gate, the Fruit & Vegetable Market, and Wasl Green Park, with additional free access daily between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

Officials have urged drivers to follow the posted signage, comply with tariff requirements, and park only in designated areas to avoid fines. The initiative supports Dubai’s ongoing efforts to enhance urban mobility, traffic management, and parking accessibility across rapidly growing neighbourhoods.
