Dubai Chamber of Commerce highlights private sector competitiveness at 2026 quarterly meeting

Dubai Chamber of Commerce has reinforced its focus on strengthening private sector competitiveness during its second quarterly meeting of Business Groups and Business Councils for 2026, bringing together representatives from 64 groups and councils under the wider umbrella of Dubai Chambers.

The session outlined ongoing efforts to boost sector readiness, ensure business continuity, and maintain the smooth flow of trade and investment across the emirate. Officials also shared key priorities for the coming months aimed at supporting Dubai’s economic momentum.

Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, emphasised the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors. She noted that business groups and councils play a critical role in strengthening Dubai’s investment landscape and enhancing trade ties, particularly in the current global environment.

Al Gargawi added that the chamber remains focused on fostering a supportive business ecosystem that enables sustainable growth while encouraging stronger cooperation among stakeholders across industries.

A panel discussion during the event explored how government readiness and agility contribute to business growth and resilience. The session included representatives from Dubai Customs, Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, and Dubai Municipality.

The meeting also underscored business advocacy as a central pillar of the chamber’s strategy, reflecting its ongoing role in supporting policy dialogue and advancing Dubai’s position as a leading global hub for trade and investment.
