Umm Al Emarat Park Welcomes More Than 410,000 Visitors During the 2025–2026 Season

Umm Al Emarat Park concluded its 2025–2026 season after welcoming more than 410,000 visitors from over 80 nationalities, marking another milestone in its continued growth as one of Abu Dhabi’s leading family and community destinations.

Throughout the season, the Park delivered a diverse programme of cultural, educational, recreational and sustainability-led initiatives, reinforcing its role as a year-round platform for community engagement, family connection and meaningful public participation. The season also reflected the wider national themes of the UAE’s Year of Community in 2025 and Year of Family in 2026, with programming designed to bring people together through shared experiences rooted in culture, wellbeing, learning and environmental responsibility.

A key milestone of the season was the Park’s participation in achieving a Guinness World Record in collaboration with Tadweer Group for the largest bottle Cap mosaic. The community-led initiative brought together 356 participants to create a 25-square-metre artwork using 24,846 recycled plastic bottle caps over approximately 18 collective hours. The achievement reflected the power of collective action in raising environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable practices among the wider community.

Sustainability remained a central pillar of the season. The Park installed five atmospheric water generation machines across key locations, producing more than 76,182 litres of water. This contributed to preventing the use of more than 38,000 single-use plastic bottles and helped avoid 3.14 tonnes of carbon emissions, further supporting the Park’s commitment to practical, measurable environmental initiatives.

Educational engagement also continued to play an important role in the Park’s programming. Across the season, Umm Al Emarat Park hosted more than 110 school trips and educational programmes and workshops, engaging more than 6,000 students through interactive learning experiences focused on nature, sustainability, culture and community awareness. These programmes reinforced the Park’s position as an outdoor learning destination that supports schools, families and young learners.

The season also saw the return of the annual Park Market for its fifth consecutive edition, bringing together 172 vendors, including 65 Emirati vendors. The market offered a platform for local entrepreneurs and small businesses, while providing visitors with family-oriented activities, live performances, wellness sessions and community activations that enhanced the overall visitor experience.Throughout the season, more than 620 free family and community-focused activities were delivered as part of the Park Market programme, further strengthening its role as a destination for community engagement and cultural exchange.

Beyond the Park Market, Umm Al Emarat Park continued to support Emirati SMEs through platforms such as The COVE, The Rage and Miami Vibes, giving local businesses opportunities to connect with the community, expand their reach and engage with wider audiences. Designed to appeal to families and young professionals alike, these activations contributed to a vibrant seasonal atmosphere that encouraged exploration, connection and shared moments.

Cultural and community-focused programming remained a defining feature of the season. Festival in the Park, held in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation, welcomed more than 21,800 attendees, while Cinema in the Park continued to offer accessible outdoor entertainment through a total of 99 screenings, including 25 screenings delivered in collaboration with Image Nation.

Throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Park also hosted Ramadan Nights at the Park, offering visitors an Iftar experience at the Ramadan Garden, a dedicated outdoor space within the Park where guests could gather in a peaceful natural setting. Curated in collaboration with Emirati chef Mariam Al Mansoori, the Iftar experience was inspired by Emirati hospitality, family traditions, and recipes passed down through generations, presented with a contemporary touch. Building on this cultural and family-focused atmosphere, the Park’s Eid programmes welcomed more than 12,000 visitors over Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha, through activities inspired by Emirati traditions, family gatherings, and cultural values.

Further initiatives included a series of wellness sessions hosted at the Evening Garden, providing opportunities for reflection, relaxation and mindful practice led by Celestial Karisma. The season also featured the Park’s daily Sunset Falcon Shows, which offered visitors the opportunity to learn about Emirati heritage and Arab traditions through 239 shows and interactions. Together, these activities contributed to preserving and promoting the UAE’s cultural heritage while encouraging participation across different age groups.

Community participation was further strengthened through a series of community events hosted throughout the season, including The COVE, The Rage, Miami Vibes, Korea Festival hosted by The Korean Cultural Center, and the Tolerance Festival which saw the planting of the Ghaf tree at the Tolerance Garden, which marked the Park’s 10th anniversary. These initiatives reflected the Park’s commitment to creating accessible platforms that bring together families, residents, partners and community groups around shared values and experiences.

The season concluded with the “Proud of UAE” community walk, which brought together more than 318 participants in an initiative celebrating community spirit and national identity through family-focused activities and cultural engagement. In addition, the National Parade Walk, organised in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Athletics Club, attracted more than 300 attendees, further reinforcing the Park’s role as a platform for community participation and shared national pride. The Park also hosted the “One People, One Nation” collaboration with the Design Commission Abu Dhabi, while the “Proud of UAE” initiatives collectively welcomed more than 500 participants, delivered in close partnership and participation with Salayel Hospitality and Wasael Property Management.

Throughout the season, Umm Al Emarat Park continued to strengthen its position as a vibrant community and cultural destination, offering a diverse programme of events and experiences that brought people together, encouraged meaningful engagement, and contributed to enhancing the quality of life for visitors of all ages.
