Dubai, UAE — December 2025 — Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week has unveiled the programme for its anchor ADSW Summit 2026. Under the theme “The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go,” the Summit will convene at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi on 13-14 January.

According to the Emirates News Agency, its core mission is to align government and industry leaders, investors, and innovators to drive system-wide action and accelerate sustainable development.

Hosted by Masdar, the Summit will feature over 100 speakers and more than 30 dedicated sessions. These will address critical global trends, including the transformation of energy systems, food and water security, and the impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

The format, comprising keynote addresses, panel discussions, and fireside chats, is designed to enable energy, business, and technology leaders to identify impactful solutions and forge lasting partnerships.

Each day will include a special Leadership Segment, gathering global figures to address the most pressing sustainable development challenges and opportunities. Confirmed speakers span diverse sectors and include Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri of the UAE Presidential Court’s International Affairs Office; Dr. Abdulla Humaid Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy; Dr. Olli Rehn, Governor of the Bank of Finland; and Ignacio S. Galán, Executive Chairman of Iberdrola. Notable voices from civil society and culture include actor and UN Goodwill Ambassador Adrian Grenier, author Maye Musk, and former Google X executive Mo Gawdat.

Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, Chief Executive Officer of Masdar, emphasized the Summit’s urgency: “At a time of rising energy demand, rapid technological disruption, and growing global uncertainty, we need to reexamine how systems across energy, finance, nature, trade and technology can interconnect to deliver measurable impact.” He stated that the Summit will provide a collaborative platform to align global decision-makers for a more resilient and prosperous future.

ADSW 2026 is set to be the largest edition to date, building on the momentum of ADSW 2025, which gathered over 50,000 participants from more than 170 countries. The broader week-long agenda includes the IRENA Assembly, the World Future Energy Summit, the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards Ceremony, and dedicated forums on youth, women in sustainability, climate finance, and green hydrogen.
