Giza to become LCC’s fourth destination in Egypt from Sharjah

Air Arabia, the Sharjah-headquartered low-cost carrier (LCC), will launch a passenger-only route between Sharjah emirate in the UAE and Giza city in Egypt with effect from December 6, 2023.

The new route will connect Sharjah International Airport with Sphinx International Airport with five weekly flights.

Air Arabia will operate the new sector with A321/A320 aircraft.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer at Air Arabia, said: “We are glad to announce the launch of our new flights from Sharjah International Airport to Sphinx International Airport in the historic city of Giza, Egypt.

“Air Arabia is committed to providing our customers with connectivity, convenience, and a unique air travel experience.”

Sphinx International Airport will become Air Arabia’s fourth destination in Egypt after Sharjah International Airport, following Cairo International Airport, Borg Al-Arab International Airport, and Sohag International Airport.

Air Arabia is an Airbus single-aisle aircraft operator.

Air Arabia will participate in the Dubai Airshow from November 13-17, 2023, at Dubai World Central, where the LCC will display an Airbus passenger aircraft.
