Auto Shanghai 2025 gears up for April opening
Paving the road to automotive innovation
The 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, known as Auto Shanghai 2025, is set to take place from April 25 to May 2, 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, China.
Established in 1985, this biennial event has evolved into one of Asia’s most influential automotive trade shows, attracting global attention from manufacturers, suppliers, and enthusiasts alike.
As one of the two leading trade fairs for the automotive industry in China, the other being the Beijing International Auto Show, Auto Shanghai has received large numbers of exhibitors, visitors and media worldwide since 1985.
Auto Shanghai 2025 will commence with press days on April 23 and 24, followed by professional visitors’ days on April 25 and 26. The exhibition will open to the general public from April 27 to May 2.
The NECC, renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities, will host the event and provide an expansive platform for exhibitors to showcase their latest innovations.
The exhibition will feature various vehicles, including passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and cutting-edge electric and autonomous models. International pavilions, such as the German Pavilion supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWK), the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), and the Austrian Pavilion organised by Advantage Austria will highlight global collaboration and technological advancements.
