Caviar unveils customised iPhone range in Dubai

Dubai-based tech-luxury brand, Caviar, has launched some of its most extravagant customised iPhone models in the UAE, including a gold-encrusted version and a stunning device adorned with an authentic tourbillon function.
The Tourbillon Carbon Gold, one of the most expensive iPhones available in the UAE, is at the heart of Caviar’s Dubai iPhone collection.
The tourbillon is a complex mechanical watch mechanism designed to counteract the effects of gravity on a watch’s accuracy. Invented by Swiss watchmaker Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1795, the tourbillon involves a rotating cage that holds the escapement and balance wheel, allowing them to move in multiple directions.
This movement helps to average out positional errors caused by gravity, particularly when the watch is in a fixed position for extended periods. Although modern technology has reduced its practical necessity, the tourbillon symbolises fine craftsmanship and innovation in luxury watchmaking. Collectors highly seek it out for its complexity.
The tourbillon feature is a first in the smartphone world, merging the finest elements of classical watchmaking with cutting-edge technology. Caviar’s bespoke iPhones start at $8,630 for the Contour model. The Tourbillon Carbon Gold iPhone 16 Pro Max is available for $14,630, while the Ultra Gold iPhone 15 Pro Max is $9,490. These prices underscore the brand’s positioning at the pinnacle of luxury tech.
Caviar, renowned globally for its exclusive customisation of premium electronic devices, has opened its new showroom in Dubai’s Tamani Towers Business Centre.
