Do you want to watch 100 films that celebrate Warner Bros. Studios’ centennial? Fly Emirates this September
Emirates, the Dubai government-owned carrier, is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros. Studios with the launch of a unique collection of the Studio’s iconic 100 films onboard its passenger flights from September 1, 2023.
Emirates will be the first commercial airline to feature Warner Bros.’s unique collection of 100 centenary movies on ice – the airline’s inflight entertainment system.
The newly launched Warner Bros. 100 films collection features iconic movies from the earliest classics, such as Casablanca and The Wizard of Oz, right through to recent blockbusters like Dune and Elvis.
Chronicling the history
The collection will also include four Max Original documentary specials chronicling the history of Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California.
Apart from the centenary 100 movies collection, Emirates will also feature 100 Years Of Warner Bros. This documentary series explores the impact of the renowned entertainment studio on art, commerce, and culture.
Featuring insights and first-person stories from directors, actors, executives, journalists, and historians, the four specials of the documentary series trace Warner Bros.’ underdog origins – from its founding in the early 1920s by four brothers from an immigrant family through decades of creative risks and impactful storytelling, to the historic mergers of the 2000s that transformed the company into a global entertainment powerhouse.
Featuring narration by Morgan Freeman and clips from iconic films and hit TV series, 100 Years Of Warner Bros. is a fascinating behind-the-scenes look into the unforgettable stories that have engaged audiences worldwide for generations.
Exclusive interviews
The documentary series features interviews with more than 60 legendary filmmakers, actors, and executives, including Martin Scorsese, Oprah Winfrey, Clint Eastwood, Tim Burton, George Clooney, Ellen DeGeneres, Daniel Radcliffe, Keanu Reeves, Oliver Stone, and Robert De Niro.
