Cognizant and McDonald’s renew strategic partnership

To drive innovation in AI

Cognizant and McDonald’s Corporation have announced a multi-year extension of their strategic partnership, initially formed in 2017. The renewed agreement will continue to leverage cutting-edge technologies to improve McDonald’s operational efficiency, customer experience, and staff enablement.

Cognizant will support McDonald’s in key areas, including Global Finance Systems and Human Capital Management. These areas cover essential functions such as payroll processing, franchisee management, master data management, and legal applications. This collaboration aims to streamline McDonald’s operations while accelerating its digital transformation.

Anup Prasad, Senior Vice President and Head of Cognizant’s Consumer Business Unit, commented: “We are excited to extend and expand our partnership with McDonald’s. The agreement will see the continued application of Cognizant’s product expertise, digital engineering, and quality assurance services alongside Cloud, Enterprise AI, and Generative AI innovations. McDonald’s will benefit from Cognizant’s deep domain knowledge in the food services industry.
