Dubai Chambers has signed four Memorandums of Understanding with leading chambers of commerce in China as part of efforts to strengthen business cooperation, expand trade and investment ties, and connect companies in Dubai with counterparts across key Chinese cities.

The agreements were signed with the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, the China Chamber of International Commerce Shenzhen Branch, the China Chamber of International Commerce Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce, and the China Chamber of International Commerce Chongqing Chamber of Commerce.

The MoUs were concluded during the recent Dubai Business Forum – China, organised by Dubai Chambers in Shenzhen.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, signed agreements with Zhang Jianwei, Chairperson of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce; Huang Xiaofeng, Vice President of CCOIC Guangzhou; and Deng Lin, Vice Chairwoman of CCOIC Chongqing.

Meanwhile, Salem AlShamsi, Executive Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, signed the agreement with He Shanshan, Secretary-General of CCOIC Shenzhen.

Lootah said Dubai Chambers remains focused on strengthening relationships with priority international markets by establishing partnerships that encourage direct interaction between business communities and create new opportunities for trade and investment.

He added that the organisation is also working to provide a supportive environment that helps Dubai’s private sector expand internationally, exchange knowledge and expertise, identify new partners, and build long-term commercial relationships.

According to Dubai Chambers, the four agreements are designed to deepen economic cooperation and support stronger connections between companies operating in Dubai and China.

The agreement with CCOIC Chongqing includes additional cooperation in promoting trade and investment, sharing information about international exhibitions and economic events, and supporting participation in business meetings and other commercial activities.

The MoUs are expected to provide businesses with practical channels for exchanging market information and expertise, identifying opportunities of mutual interest, and developing new partnerships.

They also support Dubai Chambers’ broader efforts to establish closer links with trade and investment organisations in international markets and create stronger platforms for companies seeking cross-border expansion.

The initiatives form part of Dubai Chambers’ strategy to enhance the competitiveness of Dubai’s private sector, improve access to international markets, and increase its contribution to the emirate’s sustainable economic growth.
