The countdown is almost over as Beat The Heat is set to return this week with an even bigger line-up of live concerts across Dubai.
Established as one of the most popular events of Dubai Summer Surprises, this year will see the event’s fifth season and to celebrate the occasion, a number of prominent and widely-acclaimed regional and global artists are set to take to the stage and wow the audiences with their performances at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Here is your guide to the confirmed line-up so far:
Cairokee
Saturday 11 July at 8.30 PM, Dubai World Trade Centre
Opening the season is Egyptian rock band Cairokee, known for their powerful lyrics and distinct sounds that have made them an influential name in the Arab music world.
With a name inspired by the words ‘Cairo’ and ‘karaoke’, Cairokee has built a loyal fan following across the region with their live performances and dynamic stage presence. Expect hits from their well-known albums like Matloob Zaeem, Nokta Beeda and Roma among others. Tickets start from AED 105 on Platinum List.
Dystinct & Issam Najjar
Saturday 18 July at 8:30 PM, Dubai World Trade Centre
Don’t miss Belgian-Moroccan star Dystinct alongside Palestinian-Jordanian singer-songwriter Issam Najjar for a special night of genre-blending hits and infectious energy.
One of the most-streamed artists in the Arab world, Dystinct is known for chart-topping tracks such as Ghazali, Ya Baba and Yamal. Joining him on stage is Issam Najjar, the breakout star behind the viral smash Hadal Ahbek and the first artist signed to Universal Arabic Music. Talal Sam and Sultan Al Murshed (seated)
Saturday 25 July at 8:30 PM, Dubai World Trade Centre
Saudi singer Sultan Al Murshed and Kuwaiti artist Talal Sam take to the stage, bringing together two of the Gulf’s most popular contemporary voices. The evening promises soaring melodies, heartfelt lyrics and an electric atmosphere for fans of Arabic pop music.
A well-known name in the Khaleeji music scene, Sultan Al Murshed has won audiences over with emotional tracks that explore themes of love, nostalgia and longing. Expect crowd favourites such as Wala Ghaltah, Rahet Ayamoh and Mesh Hahib. Joining him on stage is Talal Sam, whose smooth vocals and modern sound have earned him a devoted following across the region. Tickets start from AED 105 on Platinum List.
Rasha Rizk (Seated)
Saturday 1 August at 8:30 PM, Dubai World Trade Centre
Popular Syrian singer-songwriter Rasha Rizk is to headline the fourth show of Beat The Heat. From Detective Conan and Digimon to Remi, Nobody’s Girl and Gundam Wing, Rizk is best known as the voice behind the Arabic theme songs of generations of cartoon and anime.
Beyond her work in animation, the singer-songwriter is also known for her original music and powerful live performances. Tickets start from AED 105 on Platinum List.
Also confirmed for Beat The Heat are Al Shami on Saturday 8 August, Marwan Moussa & Haleem on Saturday 15 August , and  Leg_cy & Aziz Maraka & Big Sam on Saturday on 22 August with tickets to go on sale soon.
