Emirates set to relaunch daily flights to Beirut and Baghdad

Emirates has announced that it will resume daily flights to Beirut, Lebanon, and Baghdad, Iraq, starting February 1, 2025. The airline’s return to both destinations is part of its ongoing expansion of services across the Middle East.
Emirates will initially operate its daily flights to Beirut’s Rafic Al Hariri International Airport with a Boeing 777-300ER, offering passengers and businesses more choices, enhanced comfort, and improved connectivity.
With a capacity of over 5,000 seats per week in both directions, the airline’s services to and from Beirut will provide seamless connections to over 140 destinations in its global network, including popular hubs in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
From April 1, 2025, the airline will expand its presence in Beirut by adding a second daily flight. The new morning service, EK957/958, will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, offering the same three-class configuration. This will further enhance the airline’s capacity on the route.
Emirates’ flight schedule for Beirut is as follows (all times local):
- EK953 departs Dubai at 1130hrs, arriving in Beirut at 1400hrs.
- EK954 leaves Beirut at 1530hrs, arriving in Dubai at 2120hrs.
From April 1, a second daily service will operate:
- EK957 departs Dubai at 0730hrs, arriving in Beirut at 1030hrs.
- EK958 departs Beirut at 1205hrs, arriving in Dubai at 1655hrs.
Emirates will also reinstate its daily services to Baghdad, operating on a Boeing 777 aircraft. The flight schedule to and from Baghdad will offer flexible weekly timings. On Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays, EK941 will depart Dubai at 0805 hrs and arrive in Baghdad at 0950 hrs.
The return flight, EK942, will leave Baghdad at 1125hrs and arrive in Dubai at 1435hrs. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, Emirates’ flight EK943 departs Dubai at 1300hrs and arrives in Baghdad at 1425hrs, while EK944 departs Baghdad at 1555hrs and arrives in Dubai at 1910hrs.
The relaunch of services to Beirut and Baghdad marks a significant milestone in Emirates’ Middle Eastern network, further boosting the airline’s position in the region. The airline aims to support leisure and business travel by developing travel options and providing passengers with an enhanced flying experience that combines efficiency, comfort, and reliability.
