Enjoy New Year’s Eve in Dubai via public marine transit means
Dubai’s RTA promotes special prices
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is introducing a special New Year’s Eve offer involving its marine transit modes to help people celebrate the year-end event and usher in the New Year 2024 while taking in the sights of Dubai City.
The special service will be available on December 31, 2023, and involves Dubai’s RTA ferries, abras (wooden boats), and water taxis.
Dubai ferry rides are available from 10:00-10:30pm on December 31, 2023, and continue until 01:30 am on January 1, 2024. The fare is AED350 for silver class and AED525 for gold class, with a 50% discount for children aged two to 10.
Dubai ferry trips begin at Marina Mall station (Dubai Marina), Ghubaiba station and Bluewaters station.
Water taxi and abra trips are available from 10:00-10:30pm on December 31, 2023, and continue until 01:30 am on January 1, 2024.

The abra fare is AED150 per person. Children under two years of age ride for free. Booking an entire water taxi costs AED3,750. Abra rides begin at Al Jaddaf station, Al Fahidi station and Al Ghubaiba Marine transport station.
