Evolvin’ Women Strengthens Its Impact in Kenya through Outreach Events

Evolvin’ Women, a social enterprise dedicated to advancing women’s career opportunities from emerging countries, has successfully concluded its latest Outreach Programme in Kenya. Through a series of impactful events held across Boma International Hospitality, Amboseli Institute of Hospitality and Technology, Cascade, and the International Hotel and Tourism Institute, Evolvin’ Women has reaffirmed its commitment to equipping young women with the skills and confidence needed to access international training and employment opportunities.

The multi-day initiative, designed to bridge the gap between education and the professional world, took place from February 10th and 14th and brought together over 700 participants eager to kickstart their careers. Hosted in collaboration with renowned educational institutions, the programme featured inspirational talks and networking sessions designed to provide participants with the insights and tools necessary for career progression.

Assia Riccio, CEO and Founder of Evolvin’ Women, highlighted the significance of the outreach initiative, stating: “Our goal is to create meaningful pathways for young women to access global career opportunities. By engaging directly with students at these prestigious institutions, we are not just sharing knowledge; we are igniting ambition and fostering long-term professional success. This wouldn’t have been possible without our esteemed partners whom we are immensely grateful to, including Alliad, Agility Kenya, and our partner institutes, their commitment and contributions have been key to the success of this programme, allowing us to reach and inspire more young women to pursue their professional aspirations.”

Alliad has played a pivotal role in supporting Evolvin’ Women’s outreach efforts by providing a grant that has been key in expanding the programme’s reach. With a shared commitment to fostering female talent, Alliad’s involvement goes beyond financial support, as they actively contribute to the initiative through thought leadership and mentorship. Joyce Mwangi HR Consultant from Alliad, took part as a speaker during the event, offering valuable insights and guidance to aspiring professionals.

Through this partnership, Evolvin’ Women aims to connect with 400 women, furthering its mission to provide education and employment pathways that can transform lives and communities.

Rashad Sinokrot, CEO of Alliad said: “Our partnership with Evolvin’ Women has been a priority for us as it aligns with our mission to create both social and economic impact. Seeing individuals grow, develop new skills, and build meaningful careers within our corporate offices and in Kenya highlights the true value of these programs. Beyond governance metrics, they make a real difference by shaping brighter futures and opening new opportunities for those involved.”

The outreach events featured contributions from industry leaders and Evolvin’ Women alumnae, who shared their experiences and success stories to inspire the next generation. Panel discussions provided invaluable insights into the skills required in today’s global job market, equipping attendees with the tools to navigate their professional journeys.

Uzma Noor, Human Resource Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton JBR, stated, “We believe that meaningful outreach begins with trust, support and empowering our communities. By investing in skill-building programs, accessibility initiatives, and continuous learning, we are not just shaping careers—we are shaping a culture of opportunity, empathy, and growth. One modest move at a time can create a long-lasting, stunning impression that will be remembered and treasured for a lifetime.”

As part of our ongoing efforts to uplift women through education and employment, Evolvin’ Women continues to expand its outreach, forging new partnerships and creating impactful learning experiences. Looking ahead, the organisation remains dedicated to scaling its efforts, ensuring that more young women have access to life-changing opportunities.
