Residents across the United Arab Emirates can expect fair to partly cloudy weather on Friday, with humidity levels set to rise overnight into Saturday morning in some coastal and inland areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
Winds during the day will remain light to moderate, occasionally freshening with speeds between 10 and 25 km/h, and peaking at 35 km/h at times. Sea conditions are expected to be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman. Temperatures will range between 24°C and 28°C in coastal regions, while internal areas may see highs of up to 32°C. Mountain regions will remain cooler, with temperatures between 12°C and 18°C.
Looking ahead, Saturday will continue with fair to partly cloudy skies, with cloud cover increasing at times and a chance of light rainfall over islands and coastal areas by early Sunday. Winds are expected to shift from southeasterly to northeasterly, ranging between 10 and 20 km/h, reaching up to 30 km/h.
By Sunday, conditions are forecast to turn partly cloudy to cloudy, with a continued possibility of light rain across coastal and northern parts of the country. Winds may strengthen to 40 km/h, and sea conditions could become moderate to rough by evening.
The weather is expected to become more unsettled on Monday, with partly cloudy skies and another chance of light rainfall over coastal, northern, and eastern regions. Northwesterly winds are likely to intensify, reaching up to 45 km/h, potentially causing blowing dust and sand that may reduce visibility. Sea conditions are forecast to be rough to very rough at times.
Similar conditions are expected to persist into Tuesday, with fresh to strong northwesterly winds reaching up to 50 km/h in some areas. Dust and sand may continue to impact visibility, while rough seas are expected in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
