The city’s top dining spots are embracing the Year of the Dragon, offering a variety of special feasts and experiences that showcase the very best of Chinese culture. With delicious food, exclusive deals, and vibrant settings, these venues promise an unforgettable celebration to ring in the new year.

Extravagant Dining Experiences

Guests can indulge in exquisite Chinese breakfast options at Bab Al Yam at the Burj Al Arab and immerse themselves in the rich culinary heritage.  As the night falls on 10 February, they can witness the mesmerizing drone show illuminating the iconic skyline at 7:30 pm and enjoy the vibrant Lion Dance, adding cultural flair to the festivities.

Armani/Mediterraneo invites guests to usher in the dynamic Year of the Dragon with an unforgettable dining experience. On 9 and 10 February, from 6:30pm to 10pm, diners can indulge in a sumptuous New Year feast featuring an array of delectable Chinese dishes. Guests can enjoy a buffet banquet-style dining experience, featuring handmade dim sum, customisable noodle soup, and the classic Peking Duck, complemented by a wide selection of Asian and European favourites. Priced at AED349 per person, this festive feast promises to be an evening of culinary delight.

Mott 32 Dubai, at Address Beach Resort, JBR elevates the Chinese New Year experience through a collaboration with luxury handbag brand, Judith Leiber Couture. From 10 February to 10 March, guests can immerse themselves in the exquisite designs of Judith Leiber’s 2024 Year of the Dragon collection. They can also savour a unique main course and dessert, and enjoy a decadent cocktail inspired by Judith Leiber’s dragon fortune design.

Festive Brunches

The Chinese New Year Soiree Brunch at Barfly by Buddha-Bar, Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah offers diners the chance to celebrate in style with a supper-club style evening brunch featuring a lavish set

menu, dance performances, a live DJ, and a fire show.  Taking place on 10 February from 7pm to 11pm, packages start from just AED365 per person.

Trader Vic’s Palm Jumeirah, at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, welcomes guests to a Chinese New Year Brunch on 10 February from 1pm to 4pm. Michelin-starred Hakkasan at Atlantis, the Palm offers a lavish seven-dish set menu for the Year of the Dragon. Available from 10 to 24 February between 6pm to 11pm, Hakkasan’s Chinese New Year celebrations feature dragon dance performances and festive tunes by the resident DJ.

Hong Loong at Sofitel Dubai The Palm invites diners to embrace the spirit of the Year of the Wooden Dragon with a unique sharing-style menu tailored for a minimum of two people. Available from 10 to 17 February, this special experience starts at AED280 for an online gift voucher or AED350 spent directly at the restaurant.

To mark the Year of the Dragon festivities, Wox Restaurant at Hyatt Place Dubai Jumeirah presents an exclusive Fortune Dim Sums Feast. Taking place until 20 February, diners can indulge in unlimited dim sums for only AED49 per person.

Brasserie on 1 at Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay invites diners to join a memorable culinary experience and celebrate the spirit of the season. European delicacies await, and Chinese guests can enjoy 25 to 30 per cent off their dining bill, along with earning 100 IHG One Rewards points for every USD 10 spent.
