Final call issued for global teams to register for UAE SWAT Challenge 2026

Dubai: The organising committee of the UAE SWAT Challenge has issued a final call for special police units, rapid-intervention teams and tactical squads from around the world to register for the 2026 edition of the global event.

Teams can complete their registration through the official website, www.uaeswatchallenge.com, by submitting the required details and documentation.

Launched in 2019, the UAE SWAT Challenge has grown into one of the world’s most prominent tactical competitions. The most recent edition set a Guinness World Record for the highest number of countries participating in a SWAT-specific tournament, with 73 teams representing 46 nations.

The seventh edition of the challenge will take place from February 7 to 11, 2026, at Training City Al Ruwayyah. The five-day competition will test elite units on tactical precision, physical endurance and operational readiness through a series of realistic scenarios.

Challenges will include assault missions, tactical operations, officer rescue drills, high tower exercises and a demanding obstacle course designed to mirror real-world conditions.

Dubai Police has also invited members of the public to attend the event and support the participating teams as they compete for top honours in one of Dubai’s most dynamic annual sporting and tactical events.
