Global Village is set to welcome 2026 with a one-of-a-kind New Year’s Eve celebration, giving visitors the opportunity to experience seven international countdowns in a single evening.
On Wednesday, December 31, the multicultural destination will extend its operating hours from 4pm to 2am, transforming the park into a global party hub. The evening will feature a live DJ on the Main Stage, seven separate fireworks and drone displays, and a wide range of entertainment designed for visitors of all ages.
Branded as Seven New Year Celebrations in One Night, the event will take guests on a journey across multiple time zones, with countdowns scheduled throughout the evening. Celebrations will begin with China at 8pm, followed by Thailand at 9pm, Bangladesh at 10pm, India at 10.30pm, Pakistan at 11pm, Dubai at midnight, and Turkey at 1am. Each countdown will be marked by a dedicated fireworks and drone show, creating a continuous festive atmosphere across the night.
Beyond the New Year celebrations, visitors can explore Global Village’s 30 pavilions showcasing more than 90 cultures, browse over 3,500 retail outlets, and choose from more than 250 dining options. Popular attractions such as the Floating Market, Happiness Street, Fiesta Street and the Dessert District will add to the lively experience with food, shopping and live entertainment.
Families can also enjoy more than 200 rides and games at Carnaval, along with newer attractions including Dragon Kingdom, Gardens of the World and The Little Wonderers, catering especially to younger guests.
With extended hours, multiple countdowns and a blend of cultural experiences, Global Village is positioning itself as one of Dubai’s standout destinations for New Year’s Eve, offering a truly global celebration under one roof.
