Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation

Dubai, UAE, 21 February 2023: In conjunction with Innovation Month 2023 ‘UAE Innovates’, Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance is organizing a range of innovative events and activities aimed at various age groups, including numerous training workshops and interactive programs. The activities of these events are organized at the Hamdan bin Rashid Center for Giftedness and Innovation and will continue until Thursday, February 23.

Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance will conclude its Innovation Month events by organizing a global forum entitled “The Global Forum for Innovation in Education”, which will take place on Tuesday (February 28) at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library. The event will bring together a group of experts from leading international educational institutions who will discuss various topics throughout the day, including global initiatives to support teachers’ innovation, global talent mentoring, and many other related topics.

Commenting on the innovation activities carried out by the Foundation, His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance, said: “We organize these activities and programs in the Foundation guided by the vision of the wise leadership in supporting innovation and encouraging talents to make the UAE at the forefront of advanced countries in the world. Innovation is a top priority for Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance, and we work to enhance innovation and support creativity in all fields in which the foundation is engaged through the list of activities and events that we organize throughout the year. This year’s events coincide with the Month of Innovation, which represents the largest national event of its kind, where activities and events are organized in various emirates of the country, and aims to celebrate innovation and innovators, and encourage social participation on the widest possible nation-wide scale, to contribute to projects and innovations to serve the community by unlocking potential and supporting talents and thus consolidating the UAE’s position as a global destination for innovation.”

The innovation program started will continue until Thursday (February 23rd). The program includes many activities and training workshops, including an industry workshop where an innovative project is designed and manufactured, in addition to a workshop on control units aimed at outstanding students from various centers for people of determination. In addition, an introductory workshop on Artificial Intelligence will be presented to the employees of Hamdan bin Rashid Foundation, as well as a robotics and artificial intelligence program aimed at government employees, which includes 3D design of robots, 3D printing of robots, and robot programming.

There will also be an exhibition of innovative projects showcasing the most prominent innovative projects that have been implemented at the UAE Fab Lab. The exhibition runs from February 20 to February 23, 2023, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

These activities and events, which are being presented by a group of experts and specialists in various fields, come as part of the efforts of Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance and its programs aimed at promoting a culture of innovation and creativity, supporting talented and distinguished individuals in all fields, helping them develop their skills and innovations, and turning their ideas into successful projects.
