This Ramadan, newly-opened Spanish fine dining restaurant Lúnico at J1 Beach invites diners to follow the moon surrounded by loved ones while sharing a multi-course menu in a captivating setting inspired by the four phases of the moon and natural elements.
Serving daily throughout the holy month from sunset till 9pm, Lúnico’s Iftar is priced at AED 239 per person and includes a sharing-style three-course menu with dates and soup.
To welcome the breaking of fast, dates and a soup of the day will be served first, followed by starter dishes of patatas bravas with Basque aioli, gambas al ajillo with garlic chips and sourdough bread, and tomates andaluz salad with heirloom tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, Manchego cheese and pickled guindilla.
For mains comes dishes of arroz de mariscos – seafood rice with grilled prawns, confit garlic and edamame, as well as suprema de pollo – corn-fed chicken breast in a bell pepper marinade, and lastly Romesco egg pasta with Manchego cheese and almonds.
Bringing Iftar to a sweet close, San Sebastian cheesecake with mixed berries will be served, alongside a selection of 70% dark chocolate truffles.
A warm and welcoming atmosphere is to be expected throughout the evening in a picturesque setting complete with both indoor and outdoor seating – Lúnico boasts a terrace overlooking the sea as well as uninterrupted views of Burj Khalifa.
