As a fine dining Indian restaurant located in the glamorous Jumeirah Al Qasr, Atrangi is the perfect backdrop for a cinematic love affair, where every moment, from the dreamy Abra ride through the arabesque property to the softly lit terrace, becomes a scene from a classic Bollywood love story.
Marrying India’s two biggest loves, film and food, the team at Atrangi have carefully selected a wide range of dishes inspired by the culinary delights featured in iconic Bollywood movies. Guests can anticipate a thoughtfully created six-course menu, starting with a Trio of Golgappa cooked and created in the esteemed movie Queen. Vegetable or Chicken Samosa, Ghughni, a cherished dish from the heartwarming classic Amar Prem, as well as indulging in Chenna Paturi or Mutton Pasanda, based on the famous Dabbawalas of Mumbai in The Lunchbox. Standing as a culinary tribute to the endearing romantic comedy Cheeni Kam, the fourth course will consist of Zafrani Pulao, elegantly paired with Arbi Ka Salan or Fish Salan.
As the curtain falls on the cinematic love affair, diners will be treated to the famous Indian delicacy Jalabi –a symbol of Bollywood Romance and featured in Sholay– paired perfectly with a yoghurt sorbet. The grand finale awaits with Assorted Barfi. The beloved sweet reminiscent of the confectionary store featured in the romantic comedy Bareily Ki Barfi.
Atrangi’s exclusive six-course Valentine’s Day menu is priced at AED695 per couple and guests can complete the evening with a choice of white, red or sparkling grapes for AED1195. For those seeking a more personalised experience, diners can mix and match from the à la carte menu, with additional dishes available at a separate cost.
