14 Italian companies will present advanced machinery, precision technologies, manufacturing solutions and Made in Italy expertise at JGTD Dubai from 27–29 October

Dubai, UAE; [xx] October 2026: Italy is strengthening its position across the UAE’s jewellery and jewellery technology sectors, with Italian finished jewellery exports to the UAE reaching €793 million during the first seven months of 2026, while the country’s market share increased to 9.8%, up from 7.65% in 2025.

Italy also continues to build its presence in the jewellery technology segment, with exports of jewellery processing machinery to the UAE reaching €18 million between January and July 2026. Italy accounted for a 7.29% market share and ranked as the fifth-largest exporter of jewellery processing machinery to the UAE during the period.

The latest figures reflect the breadth of Italy’s jewellery ecosystem, combining internationally recognised craftsmanship and design with advanced manufacturing technologies, precision engineering and specialised production expertise.

Against this backdrop, 14 Italian companies will participate at Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) 2026, taking place from 27 to 29 October 2026 at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, with the support of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).

The collective Italian exhibition is managed by Italian Exhibition Group, while ITA will host an Italian Lounge to support participating Italian companies, facilitate business connections and provide a dedicated meeting point for buyers, manufacturers, distributors and industry stakeholders.

The Italian presence will bring together companies representing different areas of the jewellery value chain, with a strong focus on machinery, automation, precision manufacturing, laser technologies, specialised materials and advanced production solutions, alongside finished jewellery.

The participating companies are Balestri Technologies, Giusti Tech – GB Meccanica, Italfimet, Italimpianti Orafi & Tera Automation, Zone Creative, Bronzallure, Pandora Alloys, Fresissima, FARO, CIEMMEO, Eurografite, Opticom, Orostudio Italy and SISMA.

Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE, said: “Italy and the UAE share a strong commitment to quality, innovation and excellence. Italy’s jewellery industry embodies these values through its world-renowned craftsmanship, distinctive design and advanced manufacturing expertise. The participation of 14 Italian companies at JGTD Dubai offers a valuable opportunity to showcase Italian excellence and further strengthen trade ties between the two countries.”

The UAE continues to represent a strategically important market and regional gateway for Italy’s jewellery industry, combining strong demand for high-quality finished jewellery with growing opportunities for advanced manufacturing technologies and production solutions.

The latest trade figures demonstrate the breadth of the commercial relationship. While Italian finished jewellery increased its UAE market share to 9.8% by July 2026, Italian jewellery processing machinery reached €18 million in exports, reflecting the role of the UAE both as an end market and as a regional hub connecting suppliers with manufacturers, buyers, distributors and industry stakeholders across the wider Middle East.

“The latest figures confirm the strength of Italy’s jewellery sector in the UAE across both finished products and manufacturing technology. Finished jewellery exports reached €793 million in the first seven months of 2026, while jewellery processing machinery exports reached €18 million, with Italy ranking as the fifth-largest supplier of jewellery processing machinery to the UAE. Our participation at JGTD Dubai is therefore an opportunity not only to showcase Made in Italy excellence, but also to create concrete business opportunities for Italian companies to connect with industry partners, develop commercial relationships and expand their presence across the UAE and the wider region,” said Valerio Soldani, Italian Trade Commissioner to the UAE and Director of the ITA Dubai Office.

ITA’s participation at JGTD Dubai 2026 also comes during a milestone year for ICE Agenzia, as the Agency marks its centenary under the claim “A Century of Promoting Made in Italy Worldwide.” The anniversary celebrates 100 years of supporting the internationalisation of Italian companies and promoting the expertise, innovation and quality associated with Made in Italy across global markets.

The Italian presence at JGTD Dubai will reflect the diversity of the country’s jewellery sector, from advanced machinery, automation and precision engineering to laser technologies, graphite and specialised materials, alongside finished jewellery.

This combination of technological expertise and established craftsmanship enables Italian companies to respond to evolving industry requirements around precision, efficiency, customisation, production quality and innovation, while maintaining the design excellence associated globally with Made in Italy.

Through the Italian Lounge at JGTD Dubai 2026, ITA continues to support the internationalisation of Italian companies and strengthen commercial connections between Italian manufacturers and jewellery businesses, buyers, distributors and industry stakeholders in the UAE and across the wider region.
