Julius Baer wins ‘The Ultimate Battle of the Banks’ Golf Cup

OMA Emirates Group LLC, a leading innovator in payment systems and solutions, proudly convened the ‘Ultimate Battle of the Banks’ golf tournament at The Faldo Golf Course, Emirates Golf Club. This prestigious event, held on Wednesday, garnered enthusiastic participation from over 80 industry representatives, including top executives from the banking and finance sectors.

Structured around the Texas Scramble format, the tournament served as a pivotal platform for networking and collaboration among banking professionals, sponsors, participants, and industry stakeholders. 

The ‘Ultimate Battle of the Banks’ golf tournament featured 22 teams, showcasing the competitive spirit within the banking and finance community. Players from leading banks and financial organizations partook in the tournament, making it an event to remember. The participants and sponsors included FAB, Standard Chartered, UBS, GSB Private, HSBC, Habib Bank Limited, Julius Baer, Mashreq, Citi, LGT, BMW AGMC, National Bank of Fujairah, Network International, Nedbank Private Wealth, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Saxo Bank, St. James’s Place, Hansard, GIG Gulf, Mercury Payments, Orient Travel, Greenpark Global, Total Processing.

Following the day of golf, OMA Emirates Group LLC hosted a formal Gala Dinner, attended by over 70 senior executives and business leaders. The dinner provided an exclusive setting for continued networking and discussions, fostering an environment conducive to the development of meaningful business relationships.

Julius Baer secured the winning cup for the first position in the banking division, with Mashreq Bank as the runner-up. In the non-banking division, Orient Travel was recognized and awarded as the top performer.
