Kai Enzo, located at the Hyatt Centric Jumeirah in La Mer, is renowned for seamlessly blending Japanese and Mediterranean flavours, creating a unique dining experience. Previously reserved exclusively for dinner, the restaurant has now opened its doors for lunch on weekends, inviting guests, including families and kids of all ages, to savour its exquisite dishes inspired by the culinary philosophies of both regions.
Curated by Chef Izu and his creative team, the menu showcases a fusion of Far-Eastern and Western influences. From the refreshing apple and daikon salad with maple soy, fois gras and hazelnuts to the mouth-watering wagyu katsu sando drizzled with caramelized onion bbq sauce, each dish promises an elevated culinary experience. Other highlights include lobster rolls with caviar, soft milk bread dressed in kewpie mayo, an array of sushi, sashimi, and charcoal grills. Guests are invited to save room for desserts like the cherry blossom panna cotta, pistachio pavlova, and Kai Enzo’s classic Japanese cheesecake with fresh berries, caramel and vanilla anglaise.
Complementing the culinary delights is a thoughtfully crafted cocktail menu divided into two sections: ‘By the Sun’, capturing the essence of the rising sun, and ‘From the Sea’, showcasing the beauty of the Mediterranean. Guests can sip on drinks infused with yuzu, shiso leaves, sake, and matcha or enjoy a refreshing blend of citrus, herbs, and oils.
