Two of Dubai’s most distinctive culinary voices are sharing a kitchen for the first time. On Wednesday, 20 May, KO.NA Pizza House and Revolver Dubai are joining forces for a one-night collaboration dinner — a multi-course menu built by Chef Reif Othman and Chef Jitin Joshi, designed to sit somewhere between their opposite worlds.
At first glance, it’s not the most natural pairing: Japanese-Italian pizza and modern Indian fire cooking is not an obvious match. But Chef Reif and Chef Jitin got where they are by ignoring what they were supposed to do — and that turns out to be more than enough common ground to build a must-try menu.
Chef Reif has built a reputation on making the familiar feel unexpected — whether through Japanese technique, bold flavour combinations or concepts that never quite fit into a box. Meanwhile, Revolver Dubai has quickly become one of the city’s most talked about restaurants. Led by Chef Jitin Joshi, whose experience spans some of the world’s most celebrated kitchens, the restaurant approaches modern Indian cuisine with intensity and creativity.
Guests can expect a limited-seat multi-course dinner featuring exclusive dishes from both kitchens, with neither chef playing it safe. Across the evening, expect signatures like Tender Coconut Ceviche with corn and apple, Butter Chicken Kulchette with Gruyère, and a Dubai Chocolate Sundae finished with pistachio and kunafa, amongst others – each course a little reminder that the best food rarely follows the rules.
The one night only collaboration will take place from 6PM at KO.NA Pizza House in One Za’abeel’s famous Culinara for just AED299 per person (food only).
