Kokoro Handroll Bar NAS is set to begin an exciting new chapter with its relocation to NAS Gardens Community Mall, moving from a much-loved pop-up into a permanent home within one of Dubai’s newest community destinations.
What began as a temporary location quickly became one of Kokoro’s strongest communities, bringing together loyal guests, regular faces, and a neighbourhood energy that made NAS feel like home. Following the success of the pop-up, FYTE Hospitality is now taking the next step by creating a new permanent dining experience that brings Kokoro Handroll Bar together with Bake My Day, a homegrown concept under FYTE Hospitality in partnership with founder and creator Yasmine Jisri.
The new space, scheduled to open in August alongside the launch of NAS Gardens Community Mall, has been designed as a dual-concept destination, offering two completely different experiences under one roof. The unit will be split between Kokoro and Bake My Day, with each brand having its own distinct design, colour palette, and identity, while being connected through a thoughtful transition that allows guests to move between both worlds seamlessly.
As FYTE Hospitality continues to introduce new ways of dining in Dubai, this opening reflects the group’s commitment to creating concepts that feel fresh, community-led, and experience-driven. Kokoro will continue to deliver its signature handroll bar experience, while Bake My Day, a local favourite known for its signature tins and baked creations, will bring a warm, playful, and highly crafted bakery element to the space.
“Our vision was to create a space where both brands could exist side by side while maintaining their own personality and energy,” said Tarik Zaharna from T.ZED Architects, the project’s lead interior designer. “The design approach focuses on contrast, flow, and identity, giving guests two completely different experiences within one destination.”
The relocation marks an important milestone for Kokoro NAS, transforming a successful pop-up into a permanent community location. It also represents FYTE Hospitality’s wider vision of building homegrown concepts that challenge traditional formats and introduce new dining experiences to the UAE.
