LEAP 2026 opens in Riyadh with four days of tech, AI and robotics

Dubai, UAE — August 2026 — LEAP 2026, one of the world’s largest technology events, opens in Riyadh today for its fifth edition.

The four-day event will run across 16 stages and more than 20 content tracks, covering AI, computing, mobility, gaming and sport. Artificial intelligence will be a central theme throughout, tying into Saudi Arabia’s designated “Year of AI.”

On the show floor, visitors can expect live demonstrations from Unitree dancing robots, AGIBOT’s A2 Ultra humanoid robot, and brain-signal device control technology from Cognixion.

A Future Mobility Zone will showcase robotaxis, autonomous delivery drones and flying taxis. Other attractions include new game reveals and a Roblox obstacle course, an F1-themed racing simulator and virtual tour of Jeddah’s circuit, and a new content studio for podcasts and interviews.

The event is also positioning itself as a hub for investment, with more than 1,280 investors from over 1,000 firms, representing a combined $14.5 trillion in assets, expected to attend. A startup competition called Rocket Fuel will award $1 million in equity-free prizes to 100 finalists chosen from over 3,000 applicants.

Beyond the main venue, “LEAP Nights” will extend the event across Riyadh from August 30 to September 4, with roughly 60 side events at more than 15 locations.

LEAP has also struck a new partnership with F1 Saudi Arabia Motorsport, giving attendees early-bird ticket discounts for the 2027 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah.

Last year’s edition drew more than 200,000 attendees, making it the most-attended tech event in the world. LEAP is organized by Tahaluf, a Riyadh-based joint venture between Informa PLC, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, and the Events Investment Fund.
