Abu Dhabi, UAE, February 22 2023 – Leading digital marketing and transformation company MAGNITUDE launched Abu Dhabi’s first content creator learning program (Digital Stars) in February that aims to build future digital story tellers and elevate the skills and knowledge of social media content creators related to specific industries.
The ‘Digital Stars’ program teaches selected individuals on how to develop their talent in content creation and online presence to create inspirational impact within their fields including sustainability, finance, technology, digital, education, business, investment, and real estate, among others. The program will run for one month and consists of multiple sessions.
“MAGNITUDE has launched this innovative program to enable video creators, streamers, and social media influencers the opportunity to train on posting meaningful, high impact content that adds positive value to the community,” said Namrata Raina, Managing Director of MAGNITUDE. “The future online leaders will be trained on scripting, storytelling, filming, editing, branding, strategizing, and digital marketing, among other related topics.”
She added: “We are proud to be the first in Abu Dhabi to contribute to the social media and digital ecosystem by introducing influential online creators.”
How it all began
According to reports, the influencer marketing market size was valued at US$ 10.02 billion in 2021 and the total revenue is expected to grow at a CAGR of 30.2% through 2021 to 2029, reaching nearly US$ 82.79 billion. The influencer ecosystem in the Middle East is primarily dominant in the fields of lifestyle, fashion, travel, and entertainment with a significant gap in business content.
“Our research has revealed a scarcity of content creators in the Middle East region particularly in the business sector, owing to the region’s status as a new market, with most influencers and social media creators focusing on industries such as fashion, beauty, fitness, and entertainment. We are attempting to raise the level of content creation to cover niche areas and discussions focused on corporate industries, business-related value, and complex educational subjects,” Raina explained.
“This is when Digital Stars came to life, with the goal of developing and honing content gurus capable of contributing their knowledge and expertise from Abu Dhabi to the rest of the world,” she added.
However, it remains important to differentiate between influencer marketing and content creation. While both share some similarities, content creators are known for making professional-quality content and incorporating more storytelling and facts in their approach, while influencers focus more engagement to promote certain brands and lifestyles.
“The goal of the Digital Stars Content Creator program is to help content creators in building their social media brand and online following, while establishing themselves as influential content creators that inspire, engage and impact communities in their specialized fields,” Raina said.
The company will select potential candidates based on their expertise in specific industries, current social media presence, and, most importantly, their passion for creating unique content.
“Content creators must first understand the power of content on social media, and how to use their voice to spread awareness and education. They will be taught by well-established online experts, content creators and influencers to ensure that by the end of the program, a new generation of digital stars are born,” concluded Namrata.
