Mango Season Has Officially Arrived at Atrangi by Ritu Dalmia

There are few things more nostalgic in India than mango season. It marks the arrival of summer through overflowing market stalls, family lunches, chilled lassis, homemade desserts, and recipes passed down through generations. At Atrangi by Ritu Dalmia, these familiar flavours take centre stage during this time of year through a selection of mango-led dishes that reflect the ingredient’s versatility across Indian cuisine.

As mango season arrives, the restaurant shines a light on some of its existing dishes where the fruit naturally plays a role across savoury, comforting, and sweet preparations.

Among the highlights is the Prawn & Clam Mango Curry, balancing coastal flavours with the sweetness and acidity of mango, alongside the Kaacha Aam Dal, a comforting lentil dish elevated with raw mango for a bright and tangy finish.

For dessert, the Shrikhand & Khari offers a combination of creamy sweetness and crisp buttery textures, while the Mango Lassi delivers a refreshing take on one of India’s most iconic summer drinks.

Atrangi shines a spotlight on dishes already woven into its culinary identity, giving guests the opportunity to experience mango across different flavours and regional influences during the season.

These mango dishes are available throughout the season at Atrangi by Ritu Dalmia, Jumeirah Al Qasr. Reservations can be made via @atrangi.dubai or  Opentable.
