The McGettigan Group, in a new franchise partnership with Dubai-based Seven Tides International and City 12 Hospitality, opened its doors last week (Friday 22nd November) to usher in a new and exciting venue in the five-star Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai hotel.
The expansive McGettigan’s Ibn Battuta Gate, which covers over 11,000 square feet on the hotel’s ground floor, aims to put Irish hospitality firmly on the map in the Jebel Ali and surrounding communities.
Good first impressions are always essential, and guests entering the venue will be stunned by a giant atrium adorned with stained-glass windows with an impressive circular table in the centre of the room. Further inside is an imposing central bar, surrounded by an eclectic mix of cosy corners and more spacious areas, each with its distinct features from floor to ceiling, ideal for a quiet catch-up or a lively group gathering.
Stepping outside into a vibrant urban garden, guests will come across McGettigan’s iconic domed bar, a music stage, and a giant LED screen showing live sports. For those looking for a more tranquil setting, there is also a sunken garden tucked away in the corner of the garden, offering a more chilled vibe for those who enjoy quality time to catch up with friends and family.
