MIAMI VIBES AND FULL LIVE MUSIC PROGRAMME

Fans attending the second edition of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open, now just weeks away, can look forward to a whole host of off-court entertainment offerings throughout the duration of the event, including live musical performances, DJ sets and an extensive selection of F&B outlets in association with Miami Vibes.

Hosted by Mubadala and presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the tournament returns to the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City, on February 3-11, with a star-studded line-up featuring 10 of the world’s top 20-ranked players, including Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina, Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur and Greece’s Maria Sakkari.

British star Emma Raducanu, who won the US Open in 2021, has been awarded a wildcard and will also be competing for glory.

What is already shaping up to be a fantastic event with unmissable on-court action, will follow a similar theme off-court with an array of entertainment activities taking place at the venue over the course of the nine-day tournament.

Live music will be provided by hugely talented acts such as Melissa Jeffery, Daniel Batchelor and Milan on Sax, who will be performing a range of pop, soul and R&B hits, while DJ Akmaral, International Playboys, Gorgeous George and Ark Angelz will ensure the festivities continue once the sun goes down.

Attendees looking to dine in the UAE sunshine, meanwhile, can enjoy a special area dedicated to F&B, hosted by Miami Vibes and featuring a vast selection of cuisines from around the world, all of which is included in the price of the ticket.

Nigel Gupta, Tournament Director at the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open, said: “As the event draws nearer, and excitement continues to build, we are pleased to announce the off-court entertainment offerings which those fans attending will be able to sample.

“The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open is a family-friendly event for people of all ages, and while naturally we want attendees to enjoy the fantastic tennis taking place, it’s also important for us to ensure there is plenty for people to experience away from the sporting action.”

Miami Vibes owner, Elham Al Arif, said: “Miami Vibes is the first and largest food truck festival in the UAE. We will be at the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open for the first time catering to the public with local F&B vendors. Also, for the first time Miami Vibes will be introducing their very own food concept with a highly respected chef from the US. Miami Vibes will also be hosting workshops in which adults and kids can take part.”

Additionally, CRANK, a boutique fitness studio in the UAE, will be hosting a cycling fitness class before play begins on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 amongst a packed tournament entertainment and activity schedule. Full details can be found at www.mubadalaabhudhabiopen.com.
