Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment Signs MoU with Emirates Down Syndrome Association to Support for People of Determination

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Emirates Down Syndrome Association (EDSA), aimed at enhancing cooperation in the field of supporting and empowering people of determination. This collaboration reflects the establishment’s commitment to promoting social responsibility and contributing to the improvement of the quality of life for various segments of society, especially people of determination.

The MoU seeks to develop and implement joint programs aimed at empowering people of determination through organizing workshops and training programs, in addition to offering innovative solutions to prepare and integrate them at the corporate work market. The agreement also includes organizing awareness events to raise public awareness on issues related to disability and the rights of people of determination.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Thilal Khalifa Al Falasi, Assistant CEO Corporate Support Sector at MBRHE, and Dr. Manal Jaroor, Chairperson of the Emirates Down Syndrome Association. On this occasion, Mr. Thilal Al Falasi commented: “We are proud of this partnership with the Emirates Down Syndrome Association, which reflects our firm commitment to supporting all segments of society, especially people of determination. This initiative is not just a Memorandum of Understanding, but an important step towards building a more inclusive community. We believe in the importance of empowering people of determination and actively involving them in social and economic life. Dr. Manal Jaroor emphasized the importance of cooperation with MBRHE, noting that this partnership will enhance efforts to serve and empower people of determination and develop innovative programs that support them on various fronts.

The MoU will contribute to enhancing knowledge exchange between the two parties and adopting best global practices in supporting people of determination, thereby strengthening the UAE’s efforts to achieve social integration and provide an inclusive community environment.
