More comedy hits Dubai shores with Marc Lottering in ‘Uncle Marc’

South Africa’s favourite ‘uncle’, Marc Lottering, is heading back by popular demand to Dubai shores with his latest stand-up comedy show, ‘Uncle Marc’, on the 24th of February at The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates.

Marc has turned growing old into a show of its own and at 54 years of age, he is determined to go into this chapter of his life, sexy as anything and at whatever cost.  “Over the last little while, several people, including complete strangers, have been calling me UNCLE MARC. I’m not sure how I feel about it,” shares Lottering.

Having performed the show to sold-out houses around South Africa, London, Australia and Namibia, Marc is looking forward to getting back to Dubai and “chatting about this, and some other stuff.”

Much of Marc’s new material are hilarious tales about the quirkiness of everyday experiences and his personal life; about how wrinkles are a sign of a well-lived life and about the medicine cabinet full of bottles to keep him healthy.  “I love having the opportunity to travel to other countries to share South African stories but more than that, my material is relatable to everyone not just South Africans.”

The show is produced by Anwar Mc Kay and proudly brought to you by leaders in entertainment, Blu Blood. #TheBluBloodWay.  Tickets from AED 150 are available through Platinumlist (https://bit.ly/3VvJY0R).
