Volts UAE Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mimar Abu Dhabi Engineering Consultants, aiming to prepare architectural and engineering designs to establish the First Gigafactory in the Middle East. The agreement was signed by Mr. Andrey Kozhevin, Managing Partner of Volts UAE Limited , at the company’s headquarters in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, with Mr. Anan Al-Khatib, Partner and CEO of Mimar Abu Dhabi Engineering Consultants.
Mr. Andrey said, “This memorandum marks the beginning of developing engineering concepts for the first factory producing high-quality energy solutions, which will create innovative infrastructure that enhances the development of the energy sector.” He added, “This facility will also provide a service to an educational center designed according to human-centered principles and will be a new knowledge station in the region benefiting all visitors by integrating the innovations produced in this facility with their daily lives. Through this memorandum with MIMAR, we look forward to a productive partnership and reaching new horizons together”.
On his part, MR. Anan Al-Khatib, Partner and CEO of Mimar Abu Dhabi, said, “We are pleased with this partnership with VOLTS and will work together to develop architectural and engineering concepts to come up with a sustainable and innovative design for this facility, meeting the highest specialization standards in this field”.
