The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has intensified its monitoring efforts ahead of expected unstable weather conditions forecast across the UAE in the coming week.

In coordination with the Ministry of Interior, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), and other relevant entities, NCEMA convened a meeting of the Joint Assessment Team for Weather and Tropical Conditions to assess the latest developments.

According to the NCM’s latest data, most regions of the country are likely to experience unsettled weather, including rainfall of varying intensity, with a possibility of hail in some areas. Authorities also warned of active winds that could raise dust and sand, potentially reducing visibility at times.

Sea conditions are expected to fluctuate, with rough waters forecast intermittently alongside generally light to moderate wave activity.

As part of its proactive approach, the joint team reviewed preparedness measures aimed at strengthening national readiness. This includes closely tracking weather patterns, ensuring business continuity plans are in place, and issuing timely safety advisories to the public through official channels.

Officials emphasised that these coordinated efforts are designed to safeguard lives, protect property and infrastructure, and enhance the UAE’s resilience in responding to changing weather conditions.
