Origen and RoboSense form strategic partnership to accelerate embodied intelligence across the Middle East

Origen, an Abu Dhabi-based AI-native technology company, and RoboSense (HKEX: 2498), a global robotics platform company, announced a strategic partnership at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) to accelerate the deployment of embodied intelligence across the Middle East. Combining Origen’s AI-native solutions, regional ecosystem and deployment expertise with RoboSense’s industry-leading perception technologies and scaled production capabilities, the partnership aims to advance intelligent robotics, spatial intelligence and AI-native infrastructure across the region.

The Middle East is rapidly emerging as one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for robotics, autonomous systems and AI-native infrastructure, driven by ambitious national AI strategies, industrial transformation and continued investment in smart cities. Against this backdrop, Origen and RoboSense will work together through joint solution delivery, localisation, ecosystem collaboration and future large-scale initiatives to accelerate the commercial adoption of embodied intelligence across the region.

Together, the two companies will explore opportunities across spatial intelligence, autonomous mobility, industrial inspection and smart-city applications. They will also evaluate pilot deployments, localisation strategies and ecosystem partnerships to bring these solutions to market.

Frank Dai, CEO of Origen, said: “Embodied intelligence represents the next major evolution of AI, enabling intelligent systems to interact safely and autonomously with the physical world. Through this partnership, we aim to unlock new opportunities for embodied AI across the Middle East, expand the deployment of embodied AI across more real-world applications and create lasting value for governments, enterprises and communities across the region.”

Embodied intelligence depends on perception that works reliably in real conditions. Origen anchors this capability across the Middle East, driving regional deployment, solution integration, localisation, and enterprise delivery, while leveraging its ecosystem partnerships and government engagement to take deployments from pilot to scale. By combining RoboSense’s perception hardware and AI algorithms with Origen’s delivery framework, the two companies enable future robotics and autonomous systems to perceive, reason and act dependably in mission-critical, real-world environments.

Mark Qiu, CEO of RoboSense, said: “Origen is a key partner for RoboSense in expanding into the Middle East and other global markets. Leveraging our leading perception technology and mass production capabilities, we will work with Origen to foster the embodied intelligence ecosystem in the Middle East and accelerate the large-scale deployment of AI-native solutions across spatial intelligence, industrial inspection, smart cities, and other sectors.”

The strategic partnership reinforces Origen’s position as a preferred regional enabler of real-world AI and sensing infrastructure and supports the regional deployment of RoboSense’s perception technologies, aligning with the UAE National AI Strategy 2031. It aims to foster a virtuous cycle for embodied intelligence across regional and global markets, driving the next major transformation of the AI industry and laying a solid foundation for the long-term growth of advanced technologies in the Middle East and beyond.
