Parkin has issued a public warning after reports of fraudsters impersonating the company and attempting to deceive customers through fake messages and links.

In a statement shared on social media, Parkin clarified that all official SMS communications are sent only from the short code 7275. Customers have been urged not to engage with messages, calls, or links claiming to be from Parkin if they come from unverified sources.

The company advised users to always verify information through its official channels, including the Parkin mobile app or its official website, parkin.ae, before taking any action.

Parkin operates as the main facilitator of paid parking services across Dubai, managing around 207,000 paid parking spaces throughout the emirate. The company has developed a fully digitised parking ecosystem, offering multiple digital payment options and intelligent parking management systems designed to improve convenience and service quality for motorists.

As part of its ongoing digital upgrades, Parkin recently integrated several permit services directly into its mobile app, allowing users to manage parking access through a single platform. The company continues to enhance its technology to streamline the parking experience for residents and visitors.

Looking ahead, Parkin is set to introduce paid parking services in Dubai’s International City next month. The company has also reiterated that certain groups, including Emirati residents, senior Emiratis, and People of Determination, are exempt from parking fees under its system.

Customers are encouraged to remain cautious, rely only on official Parkin channels, and report any suspicious activity to avoid falling victim to parking-related scams.
