RANGE ROVER CELEBRATES MODERN LEGACY THROUGH AN EXCLUSIVE COLLECTORS’ LOUNGE EXPERIENCE IN DUBAI

Range Rover unveiled The Collectors’ Lounge—a private, design-led gathering that brought together an exceptional group of visionaries, curators, and collectors for an immersive celebration of modern legacy and refined taste.

Set within the private Dubai residence of prominent art collector Charles Al Sidaoui, the three-day invitation only experience reflected Range Rover’s dedication to timeless craftsmanship and cultural curation. With a lens on passion-led investments and the art of collecting, The Collectors’ Lounge offered guests a rare opportunity to engage with unique personal archives spanning paintings from international and regional masters, rare books, garments, vintage vehicles, horology, vinyl, and musical instruments.

Anchoring the experience were a series of rare and beautifully restored Range Rover Classics—icons of design that reflect the brand’s enduring legacy, and epitomising the purity of analogue engineering and bespoke craftsmanship.

Paula Gharizi, Brand Director, JLR MENA, commented, “The Collectors’ Lounge is a celebration of passion, individuality, and the stories we tell through the objects we treasure. Whether it is a vintage vinyl, hand-bound volumes, heritage garments, or a perfectly restored Range Rover Classic—every collection on display reflected a unique pursuit of beauty, meaning, and timeless value. At Range Rover, we are proud to champion those who shape culture through legacy and refined taste.”

Guests were invited into a world where personal collections became cultural statements; from Charles Al Sidaoui’s Yes Collection—a diverse and globally sourced assembly of contemporary art—to Dr. Reem Tariq El Mutwalli’s rare collection of traditional garments from the UAE and the wider region, The Collector’s Lounge experience bridged heritage with modernity.

Alex Warren, founder of Zerzura Rare Books, the region’s first specialist in rare and unusual titles, presented a curated selection of hard-to-find volumes spanning art, history, and design. Horology expert Hamdan Al Hudaidi, founder of Perpétuel Gallery, shared pieces from his personal archive of mechanical masterpieces, celebrating the precision and poetry of fine watchmaking. Meanwhile, Nisreen Shocair, co-founder of Art of Guitar and Art of Music, introduced an intimate collection of musical and design rarities. DJ and vinyl collector Shadi Megallaa brought the event to life with live sets spun entirely on vinyl, drawing from a personal archive of over 3,000 records.

In uniting this rarefied community of collectors and creators, Range Rover reaffirms its position as more than an icon of design—it is a marque that over five decades has honoured the enduring elegance of craftsmanship, and those who live it.
