RANGE ROVER SV BESPOKE SADAF EDITION CELEBRATED WITH EXCLUSIVE SCULPTURE

The Range Rover SV Bespoke Sadaf Edition – a breathtaking example of bespoke curation inspired by the heritage of the Arabian Gulf – has been revealed to an exclusive audience at Range Rover House in Abu Dhabi, alongside an exclusive sculpture commission by Mattar Bin Lahej.
Set along the spectacular shores of the Arabian Gulf, Range Rover House provided the ideal backdrop for the reveal of the SV Bespoke Sadaf Edition, allowing select guests to experience the essence of Range Rover and enjoy a curated luxury experience.
Influenced by the region’s long association with the Arabian Gulf and seaborne trade, the Range Rover SV Bespoke Sadaf Edition’s unique colour combination is inspired by the long, rich tradition of pearl diving, an integral part of the history and culture of the region.
Just 20 Sadaf Edition vehicles will be available to clients in the region. Reflecting its exclusivity and design leadership, each client will also receive a bespoke sculpture – named The Pearl, made by famed Emirati Conceptual Designer and sculptor, Mattar Bin Lahej, along with a certificate of authenticity.
Bin Lahej is a world-renowned artist, known for his unique style of combining traditional Arabic Calligraphy into modern art and sculptures. He rose to prominence thanks to his design and calligraphy that wraps the Museum of the Future in Dubai.
Bin Lahej took inspiration from his forefathers’ long-standing relationship with pearl diving, and the celebration of this with the Range Rover SV Bespoke Sadaf Edition, to create his latest masterpiece.
Made from the highest quality stainless steel, The Pearl lives up to its name: a magnificent sphere that explodes into multiple layers and shapes that open to reveal a core bursting with energy, made up of intricate shapes of traditional Arabic calligraphy. The calligraphy sphere is the heart of the pearl, surrounded by long stretches of metal that twist and turn with smaller spheres scattered around. It is as if they orbit the sphere’s nucleus.
Range Rover House is a unique destination held at the Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi, an exclusive new destination in Abu Dhabi set to open its doors in mid-February 2024. The Santorini-inspired hotel exemplifies the natural beauty of reductive design which is synonymous with Range Rover.
