Ras Al Khaimah will close a main road on Thursday, November 20, to make way for rehearsals ahead of the emirate’s celebrations for the 54th National Day (Eid Al Etihad).
According to the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, the road leading to Qawasim Corniche will be closed from 8.30 am to 10 am as military units and parade participants carry out a full-dress practice.
Officials are asking drivers to plan ahead and use alternative routes to avoid delays during the closure.
In a statement, police said the rehearsal will involve the movement of military units along the route, and the temporary closure is necessary to ensure safety and smooth coordination. The preparations form part of the wider planning efforts for the Union Day celebrations taking place on December 2.
