Riyadh Air has opened bookings for its new daily service between Dubai and Riyadh, offering travellers in the UAE a direct connection to the Saudi capital starting June 18, 2026.
The airline will operate the route between Dubai International Airport and Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport using its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet, further expanding its regional network as it prepares for broader international growth.
According to the published schedule, flight RX0244 will depart Dubai at 6:30pm and arrive in Riyadh at 7:20pm local time. The return service, RX0243, will leave Riyadh at 2:05pm and land in Dubai at 5:00pm.
Tickets are now available through Riyadh Air’s website, mobile application and authorised travel partners.
Strengthening UAE-Saudi Connectivity
The launch adds another travel option for passengers moving between two of the Gulf region’s busiest business and tourism hubs. Riyadh Air said the service is designed to meet growing demand from both corporate and leisure travellers while providing convenient onward connections through Riyadh.
Passengers travelling from Dubai will also gain access to the airline’s expanding international network, including destinations such as London and Manchester, with additional routes across Asia planned in the future.
Tony Douglas, Chief Executive Officer of Riyadh Air, described the Dubai route as an important milestone in the carrier’s expansion strategy.
“The launch of our new service to Dubai marks another milestone in our journey to connect Riyadh to the world, and the world to Riyadh,” Douglas said.
He added that the route supports the airline’s ambitions to become a major global carrier while contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives.
Four-Class Dreamliner Experience
The Dubai-Riyadh service will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners configured across four cabin classes: Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
Business Elite and Business passengers will enjoy fully flat-bed seats arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, while Premium Economy features a 2-3-2 layout with enhanced comfort, additional storage and larger workspaces. Economy Class will offer a 3-3-3 seating arrangement with adjustable headrests.
Across all cabins, passengers will have access to Bluetooth audio connectivity, charging ports and traditional audio jacks. Business cabins will also include AC power outlets alongside USB-C and USB-A charging options.
The airline’s in-flight entertainment platform, powered by Panasonic Avionics’ Astrova system, will feature more than 500 films, 600 television series and over 1,000 music albums and playlists.
Loyalty Programme Benefits
Travellers can also enrol in Riyadh Air’s loyalty programme, Sfeer, and become founding members.
The programme includes benefits such as complimentary onboard Wi-Fi, rewards from the first flight, a Best Offer Guarantee and a policy ensuring points do not expire. Members will also have the ability to share status points with family and friends.
Early members will gain access to The Founders programme, which offers priority booking opportunities on future route launches and other exclusive benefits.
Riyadh Air noted that schedules remain subject to operational, regulatory and safety requirements, and passengers are encouraged to monitor updates through the airline’s official channels before travelling.
