Motorists in Dubai will enjoy reduced toll rates on select Sundays throughout November as Salik rolls out a special pricing initiative in support of the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025.

The revised toll rates will apply on November 2, 16, and 23, offering commuters savings during the citywide fitness campaign, which runs from November 1 to 30.

New Sunday Toll Rates

According to Salik, the flexible rates will apply across all toll gates in Dubai and vary based on time of day:

  • Peak hours (6am–10am & 4pm–8pm): Dh6 and Dh4 respectively
  • Off-peak hours (10am–4pm & 8pm–1am): Dh4
  • Late night (1am–6am): Free passage

Supporting Community Events

The initiative is part of Salik’s ongoing efforts to facilitate smooth traffic flow and enhance the city’s smart mobility ecosystem, particularly during large-scale community events such as the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

Salik noted that the temporary Sunday pricing aims to encourage greater participation in the month-long fitness movement by making it easier for residents to reach event locations across the city without worrying about higher toll costs.

Encouraging an Active Lifestyle

Now in its ninth edition, the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) invites residents to commit to 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days, promoting a culture of health and well-being across the emirate. From complimentary fitness classes and outdoor bootcamps to family-friendly activities and community runs, DFC 2025 offers something for everyone.
