The humanitarian aid to Equatorial Guinea comes as another King Salman Relief Center project. The Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to Saudi Arabia, Dr. Benigno-Pedro Matute Tange, was received at the King Salman Relief Center by the Supervisor -General of the Center – Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, to discuss the promotion of humanitarian affairs and aid between the countries. Dr. Benigno-Pedro commended the efforts of Saudi Arabia in its several efforts to aid countries around the world – including Equatorial Guinea. Transferring tons of data to Guinea is not the first humanitarian aid from Saudi Arabia to Guinea. Talks on humanitarian reliefs have been ongoing since March early in 2023. The delivery of the dates to Guinea was a gift to show brotherly acceptance and friendliness on the end of both countries, and the gesture was well recognized as such.
