Selfdrive.ae unveils Back-to-School promo with special prices
Selfdrive.ae, the Dubai-headquartered car lease and rentals subscription platform, has launched its 2023 Back to School campaign for students’ parents and schoolteachers in the UAE.
Timed to coincide with the start of the new academic year in the UAE, and featuring more than 1,000 petrol and electric cars, the new Selfdrive.ae promotion permits UAE-based parents of students and school teaching staff to drive new non-commercial vehicles at cost-effective prices.
Selfdrive.ae’s Back to School offers begin at AED1,199 (per month) for a three-month new compact car rental and AED1,099 (per month) for a six-month compact car rental.
The limited-time offer aims to provide the target groups with an affordable and flexible solution for their mobility needs.
Soham Shah, CEO and Founder of Selfdrive.ae, said: “We understand the importance of a smooth and hassle-free commute, especially during the busy Back-to-School season.
“Our ‘Back-to-School’ offer not only ensures convenience and comfort but also offers significant savings to our customers.
“With a wide range of vehicles to choose from, including compact cars, sedans, and SUVs, we aim to cater to diverse preferences and requirements,” Shah added.

The Selfdrive.ae campaign includes a range of popular car makes and models, including the Mitsubishi Attrage, Mazda 6, and Toyota Yaris.
To register for the Back-to-School promotion, participants must download the SelfDrive – Car Rental app from Google Play or App Store.
Applicants have to then provide their valid UAE/GCC-issued driver’s licence and valid Emirates ID, and follow the car selection and payment options on the app.

Selfdrive.ae’s business model is based on collaborating with more than 50 auto dealerships across the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait, via renting, subscribing to and leasing vehicles directly from the auto dealerships.
Selfdrive currently manages more than $500 million worth of vehicle assets on its car subscription platform that operates across five countries in the GCC region.
Since 2017 the company has served more than 75,000 retail and fleet customers with 65 different vehicle makes from 20 auto manufacturing brands.
