As Dubai welcomes the Chinese New Year, SHI invites guests to embark on a culinary journey with its exclusive ‘Dragon Feast’. From the 5th to the 11th of February, with special emphasis on the 9th and 10th, SHI transforms into a haven of Chinese cultural festivity, creating a night to remember for all guests.
Commencing the celebration, each guest will be honored with a traditional red envelope upon arrival, symbolizing good luck and prosperity, encapsulating their wishes for the New Year. These tokens of fortune will be adorned on bonsai trees at SHI’s entrance, creating a mesmerizing forest of aspirations. Special surprises will be concealed in lucky envelopes, adding a hint of mystery to the full experience.
Diners will be welcomed with a unique Dragon themed welcome drink, setting the tone for this special evening. The feast begins with a delicious Hot & Sour Soup, followed by an array of delectable appetizers and salads including Dragon Fruit Tiger Prawn, Crispy Duck Maki Roll with Volcano Sauce, and a mouth-watering Crispy Duck Salad. The celebration continues with a rich selection of main courses, such as Braised Lamb Pot, Wagyu Beef with Black Vinegar, and Crispy Chicken with Lime Sauce. The delicious feast ends with the Chef’s Special Dessert, a sweet note to end the memorable dining experience.
The evenings of the 9th and 10th will be a spectacle of cultural delight with hand fan performers and Guzheng instrumental performances, alongside SHI’s resident DJ and singer. Offering a glimpse into the future for every guest, each table will be presented with a Fortune Cookie Box alongside a dragon tassel key chain, as a memento of SHI’s Chinese New Year celebration.
The special celebration is priced at 400 AED per person, with children under six years old dining for free. SHI’s Dragon Feast is more than just a dining event; it’s a celebration of flavors, culture, and traditions, set against the picturesque backdrop of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline.
